Based on the efficiency and competitiveness of our beetleweight robot Kippa, the team was motivated to develop the Bacon robot, a robot based on the champion. It should be noted that, despite the similarities, the project is totally new. The features deemed efficient were used and new ideas were added to the project.

In order to obtain the entire mechanical structure of the robot with a single piece, a 7075-T6 aluminum block was machined, the same material being used for the disc body, a characteristic that is resistant to fractures, since the suffered impact dissipates throughout the structure evenly.
