Our great Czar, of Beetleweight category (3lb), was designed in 2014 with the objective of seeking greater competitiveness in its category.

Its name was chosen due to the Russian “kings” and was inspired by the robot One Fierce Roundhouse (American Undercutter with horizontal weapon). While he was on active duty, Czar had great fighting potential against any kind of wedge.

The weapon is an SAE 4340 steel undercutter disc powered by a Brushless Rimfire motors. It was decided to choose this type of weapon because of the high number of ramps in the category.

Its structure is seamless and made of Aluminium 7075 – T6.

One of the project’s priorities was to leave large internal space to facilitate maintenance during competitions.

Czar won a title in the Winter Challenge 2015 and currently gave way to new robots within the category.
