Dragster arose from the need to build a third robot for ENECA 2005. Until reaching the current stage, the project has undergone several modifications. In those days the robot was basically made up of steel plates and two Bosch GPA motors. Although it was a simple robot, it brought great results to the team. Its internal lattice structure, together with the thick outer steel sheets, made this a very solid project.

Much more than attracting attention, the robot took the team to ENECA 2005 fourth place, making Uai!rrior again among the best teams in the country.

The logo of Dragster project was conceived during an early night of work in the team office, before the competition in Florianópolis. A great debate was held to decide his name. After the initial name Punisher and several later proposals, it was decided that his name would be Dragster.
