Story:

Follow Line is a robot that aims to cover a path in the shortest possible time, Follow Line is a great project for those who would like to understand a little better about the world of robotics, in this project we can learn about the main areas that are:

Mechanics, where we developed the shape of the robot, produced parts on a 3D printer, dimensioned the engines and made the necessary reduction calculations for the motors.

Electronics (Hardware, Firmware and Software), in this area we dimension the battery needed for the robot to work, we choose the components, the circuit design as well as the documentation of all the electronic part to enable the PCB manufacture, then we start for the creation of the Firmware, creating the peripheral libraries (TIMERS, I / O, ADC, SPI, USART) of the microcontroller that we will use, then we started to develop the drivers and the robot software.

Control, where we study control techniques such as PID, sensor association, and different ways to make the robot remain stable on the line.

Telemetry is an area that we are still developing, here we seek to create programs capable of receiving data from the robot and analyzing how it is behaving so that we can know where to make improvements. All of these areas can be developed both in an introductory and advanced way. Currently in the team we have just made the robot complete a race in a stable way, the next step we seek is to be able to recognize the track and, thus, we can accelerate and decelerate at the right times.
