Story:

Chromus was developed to compete with the Uai! robot in the 2nd Robot War, headquartered at Unicamp. This was the main project of the Team, it consisted of a structure made of chrome steel – from which the robot’s name was derived – and it had a pneumatic arm that could easily turn its opponent.

By the rules of the competition, the robot that is completely without locomotion loses the round due to immobility, so the idea of making a robot that could turn its opponent was interesting, since at the beginning of the Robot War no bot was able to turn around, that is, to be irreversible.

Although Chromus turned all of his opponents upside down, he ended up trapped in the arena’s protective screen at the end of the round, also being immobilized and therefore could not be considered the winner. So in the championship he didn’t take first place. Team Uai!rrior ended up taking home the silver trophy in the 2nd Robot War. Even so, at the end of the event, the Chromus was considered the best Brazilian bot.
