Autonomous
Uairrior participates in the category of mini-sumo, follow line and sumo-lego. This category requires a lot of technical knowledge of programming, electronics, in addition to requiring a good mechanical structure.
Combat
Uairrior was born to compete in the combat of robots. We currently participate in several categories, from 150g to 250lb. Combat requires a very resistant mechanical structure and very well dimensioned designs.
Hockey Pro
Uairrior has participated in several Hockey-pro competitions since 2010. The category consists of two teams formed by three robots each, the goal is to score goals against the opponent. The robots weight 15lb each.
BLACK
DRAGON
Our biggest robot, representing the heavyweight category, the Black Dragon participates in BattleBots. It has 250lb of power and destruction!
BattleBots
Since 2019, the Uai!rrior Robotics Team participates in BattleBots, one of the most important robot fighting champiomship in the world, which takes place in the United States of America. Living years of so many crises and uncertainties, we managed to reach the Top 3 within the competition in 2020!
Every year the Black Dragon is demonstrating more of its power and that a dragon doesn’t get hurt by FIRE!
Electronic
projects
Uairrior designs and manufactures electronic
boards for use in robots. Having your own electronics ensures the autonomy and evolution of the robotic project. Our follow line, for example, was designed entirely by our members.

UAIRRIOR
Born in 2001, Uairrior is an extension project at
the Federal University of Itajubá that participates
in robot combat competitions. We design and build our robots to compete both internationally and nationally.

Our team is formed by students from the Federal University of Itajubá, Brazil. They are students of various courses, being they, engineering, administration, computing, mathematics and others. Our selection process is open every year, exclusively for UNIFEI students.
FROM SCORPION TO DRAGON
Initially, our name was Scorpion,
the same name as the first robot on the team.
The name Uairrior came from the regional expression “Uai” with the English expression “Warrior”.
UAIRRIOR CURRENTLY COMPETES IN VARIOUS COUNTRIES, BEING THEM, BRAZIL, CHINA, INDIA AND THE UNITED STATES.
