2020

fairyweight (0,33lb)

Story:

With the category coming to Brazil, it was thought about making another project for the category. Kowalski was inspired by our beetleweighyt robot Martelinho. And already becoming champion in his first competition.

Build report 2020:

It has great versatility to fight against several robots, because it is possible to make changes to your wedge and still allow the coupling of “forks”.

Its body is entirely 3D, as it is a lightweight material and easy to manufacture, it proved to be a great choice, as it lasted several fights without suffering major damage.

It features a wedge made of titanium to fight active weapon robots, and 7075-T6 Aluminum forks to fight wedges.

Its drive system is composed of two micro Polulu motors, that are used in Recruta and other antweight robots . The weapon motor is a DYS 1806 of 1400kv, being a lightweight and powerful motor of this category. The weapon motor is coupled inside the weapon, being held by pressure, thus facilitating its transmission.
