In the year 2016 right after RoboGames, inspired by the robot Ricola, Ricota was born, in the Beetleweight category (3lb).

The idea was to make a resistant and light robot, with a great potential for combat, so the first project was made entirely of HDPE, however in its first competition the HDPE was dissipating the blows a lot, so a redesign was made, replacing the HDPE for new titanium sides, and carbon fiber cover.

With its robust body, combined with its weapon, the first of its kind in the team, which is a revolving bar known as “eggbeater”, Ricota achieved Bronze at RoboGames 2017 and has been winning titles in several competitions until then.
